- The kids, of course. Need I say more?
- My new friends from all around the world, some of whom have already left the hostel to go travel other parts of Africa or have returned home.
- Their accents (Kiwi, Aussie, Brit, etc.)
- Moshi---both the hustle and bustle of town as well as the lush and beautiful Rau village, where I walked to and from every day for Tuleeni.
- "Family" meals at Hostel Hoff---everyone sitting together and talking about their day or something completely random.
- Playing the "let's see how many people we can squeeze in a cab/dala/bus" game.
- The stars in the sky---there are so many!
